1999 Scott Phillips Bio: The following appeared in the Victoria Times Colonist obituaries: Scott Michael, born July 11, 1981 passed away suddenly on February 1, 2001. Predeceased by his grandmother, Grace Phillips, Scott leaves to mourn his loving family, mother Pam; father, Mike; brothers, Stephen and Erik; Nana Val Sanders; Grandpa Richie Phillips; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Scott's happiest days were playing saxophone with his fellow musicians in jazz bands at Landsdowne and Mt. Doug schools. Scott also loved his car, going to the gym and being with his friends. Scott will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered. A memorial service was held at First Memorial Royal Oak on February 7, 2001 In Memorium Page
